Mid-season friendlies over with a win
Botev Plovdiv won 2-0 the last friendly game in the mid-season training session. The Canaries played with Bansko, 4th in the Western "B" division. Botev were the better team, creating a number of chances, hitting the post three times. Bansko only managed to reach the Hristo Ivanov's goal once in the end of the game, but without any danger. The goals were scored by Iordan Hristov in the first half and the possible new transfer - Valentin Veselinov in the second half.
A win against a top-division Moldavian team
Botev Plovdiv achieved the first victory in the mid-season camp in Turkey. The Canaries beat the top-division team of Akademia UTM from Moldova with 1-0. The only goal was scored by Atanas Kurdov in the 60th minute.
A draw in the first friendly in Turkey
Botev Plovdiv made a prestigious draw with the elite Polish team Korona Kielce. The Canaries finished 1-1 with the 7th in the championship of Poland. The only goal was scored by Todor Nedelev, who celebrated his 19th birthday today.
New defender signed with Botev, the team sailed to Antalia
A new defender signed with Botev Plovdiv in the last minute before the team's departure to Antalia. The Canaries will stay in the Turkish resort for two week of a mid-season trainings. Botev also have few scheduled friendly games.
