Botev Plovdiv achieved the first victory in the mid-season camp in Turkey. The Canaries beat the top-division team of Akademia UTM from Moldova with 1-0. The only goal was scored by Atanas Kurdov in the 60th minute.
The first half was boring and full of mistakes by both teams. The one more interesting situation was at the Moldavian's goal, when Kurdov missed one on one against the goalkeeper.
In the second half Botev started playing much better with misses by Ivailo Dimitrov and Petar Atanasov. The goal was scored in the 60th minute, when Kurdov found himself in a clear goal-situation, after a pass from Atanasov and netted the only goal with his left foot.
